God is really moving Good Shepherd's people to search His Word.

JULY PRAYER FOCUS

  • Thank God for the gifts of the Holy Spirit at work in our congregation.

  • Continue to ask God’s blessing on our mission statement: Helping One Another Put Jesus First through Worship, Spiritual Growth, Pastoral Care and Service to Others.

  • Please pray for the General Convention of the Episcopal Church, which meets from the 8th – 17th of this month.  Ask for God’s will to be done and for the wisdom to understand and respond.

  • Keep praying that we will identify aspects of life that we “hold back” from God and that we will surrender them to Him.

  • Ask God to give us the resources needed to do the work He desires.

Good Shepherd is a pastoral size, neighborhood church, built in 1956, in Sioux Falls, SD. Good Shepherd is in the Dioceses of South Dakota. The parish consists of both young and established families. It is a church willing to grow both in numbers and ministry development.

Our church has really flourished through these  forty- odd years and is continuing to do so. The Church of the Good Shepherd was started by young families whose children and grandchildren have now had families of their own that are attending here. It continues to attract many new members along the way. The original “flock” has increased in numbers and in strength. This is only a beginning!

We would love to welcome you into our wonderful family
