Youth will be attending Lifelight Music Festival in Worthing, SD on Saturday, September 4th. We’ll meet at the church at 10am to carpool down and return by 7pm. We’ll enjoy some great music and time together.
Watch out for more great Youth activities this Fall as we explore out faith and put it into action through movie nights, Bible study, prayer, service and fun!

This year we will be using the Celebrate the Good News Children’s Chapel Curriculum for out church-time Sunday School. We have some wonderful volunteers bringing the Gospel to life for kids during out 10am service. The children begin the service upstairs with their families and then are dismissed to Sunday School during the lessons and the sermon so that they can learn interactively downstairs in the Parish Hall. They rejoin the congregation after their lesson and join us to celebrate communion together as a church family.
In order to help our kids and their families to grow to know God better, we are beginning the Stepping Stones program offered through Faith Inkubators. We will be putting together teams who will help kids and their families to develop their faith through developing a daily habit of blessing one another, praying together, sharing highs and lows, reading the Bible, confession and forgiveness and more. These Stepping Stones sessions will be geared towards the various age groups of kids we have at Good Shepherd and will consist of several evening sessions where families gather together to learn how their kids are developing physically, emotionally and spiritually.

2010 Vestry meetings will be held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00pm at the Church of the Good Shepherd.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
In addition to our small groups, there is also an ongoing weekly Bible study group. They meet on Thursdays at the Church of the Good Shepherd in the lower lever fireplace room at 1:30pm CT.

Black Sheep (Alcoholic Anonymous) Meetings
|
|
|
|
|
The Black Sheep meet every Monday and Friday at 8:00pm CT at the Church of the Good Shepherd.
