New Here?

Who are we?
Good Shepherd consists of a wide range of people, from all ages and backgrounds.  Whoever you are, you are assured a warm welcome at Good Shepherd.

When to arrive:
On Sundays, we meet at 8:00 am and 10:00 am.  At 8:00 am, the service is held without singing and at 10:00 am, singing and musical accompaniment is provided.  Sunday School is provided during the 10:00 am service.

Where to go:
To enter the church, look for a red door on the south end of the building located next to the handicapped accessible ramp.

What to wear:
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in.  Good Shepherd is an informal church and accept people as they are.  There is no need to dress up or try to be someone that you are not.

For disabled people?
The church entrance has a handicapped accessible ramp, an elevator to access all levels and a handicapped accessible restroom.

What to expect:
Each service has an easy to follow booklet that contains everything you need to know and say.  If you have questions, anyone around you is willing to help.  We go to the altar and share bread and wine.  All baptized Christians are welcome to participate in this Holy Communion of the body and blood of Jesus Christ.

Where do the children go?
During the 10:00 am service, the entire family will sit together.  The pastor will then invite the Sunday School teachers and children to the front of the church to let them know what they will talk about.  They will go to their classroom for the lesson and will return later in the service.

What we believe:
We are a Christian church and believe that everyone can have a relationship with God.  We believe this relationship with God is possible because of Jesus Christ, God’s only son, who invites us to follow him.  If you are interested in exploring the Christian faith, please come on a Sunday or contact our office.

Do you only meet on Sundays?
Absolutely not!  We have other services throughout the week plus we have other groups and gatherings of varied interests.  See “What We Do” for more details about the groups and see “Upcoming Events” for the schedule of church services.

When can I meet the Pastor?
You can see the pastor after any of the services or call the office to set up an appointment.
